Upload your products
Add items one by one, or upload a CSV or Excel file with names, prices, categories, and stock levels in Settings → Products to load your whole catalog at once.
Search & filter products
Find items instantly with live search, or tap a category chip to filter your catalog down to what you need.
Your logo & store details
Upload your own logo and store info in Settings → Store - it prints at the top of every receipt.
Scan barcodes
Turn on the barcode scanner and add items instantly by scanning with any USB barcode scanner - no camera, no setup, it just works.
Split payment
Part cash, part card? Add multiple payment rows on one sale and the app tracks each amount separately.
Multiple cashiers
Add your team in Settings → Cashiers, switch who's active from the header, and see sales broken down by cashier in the Summary panel.
Stock & inventory
Track stock levels per product - they deduct automatically with every sale, and you can correct or restock any number anytime from the Inventory tab.
Customer-facing screen
Show customers a live view of their order and total on a second monitor or tablet - updates in real time as you ring things up.
Customer database
Save names, companies, emails, and phone numbers in Settings → Customers, then link a customer to each sale at checkout - every past order shows right on their record, newest first.
Tax & discount
Set a tax name and rate in Settings → Tax. Discounts are applied per sale at checkout, as a percent or a flat amount - totals recalculate automatically either way.
Multiple currencies
Set your currency code and symbol in Settings → Currency, and choose how many decimal places to show.
Sales history, editable
Click any past sale to view full details, fix a mistake, or reprint the receipt. Export a two-tab Excel report whenever you need your own records.
End of Day report
Print or save a closing report from the header's End of Day button - total sales, items sold, payment breakdown, and collections per cashier for the day.
Auto-Backup & restore
Set up Auto-Backup once and every change - a sale, a new product, any setting - saves itself to a folder on your computer automatically (Chrome/Edge on desktop). Prefer to do it yourself? Download a complete backup anytime from Settings → Backup and restore it instantly if you ever need to.

GoOnlinePOS is an independently developed free online POS system built for small businesses.
We built it around a simple idea: running a POS shouldn't require a monthly subscription, expensive hardware, a complicated setup, or a sales call.
If you run a market stall, home bakery, food cart, pop-up shop, or small independent store, you need a reliable way to manage products, record sales, accept payments, and print receipts - nothing more.
GoOnlinePOS.com was created to fill that gap. It's a browser-based POS you can use on a phone, tablet, or laptop - no traditional POS software to install, no dedicated checkout hardware to buy.

Your Data, Your Device
Your POS data is stored locally in your browser. No account or cloud database is required for basic use.
Set up Auto-Backup or back up your data manually - clearing your browser or site data may remove locally stored information.
Common questions
Is it really free?
Yes. GoOnlinePOS is 100% free, with every feature included - no subscription, no signup, no login, and no paid tier of any kind.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Just open the app in your browser and start selling - nothing to sign up or sign in for.
Can I use the POS without internet?
Yes. GoOnlinePOS can be used without an internet connection. The Offline POS lets you continue selling, manage products, and use your POS even when there is no internet.
Where is my data stored?
Your products, sales history, logo, and settings are stored locally in your browser. Your POS data is not uploaded to a GoOnlinePOS server. Because your data is stored locally, clearing your browser's site data can erase it, so regular backups are recommended.
Can I backup and restore my data?
Yes - and it can be automatic. Go to Settings → Backup to set up Auto-Backup, which saves a complete backup to a folder on your computer every time something changes (Chrome/Edge on desktop). You can also download a one-time backup manually anytime, and restore any backup file later to recover the data it contains.
Can I export my sales?
Yes. Export a two-tab Excel report of your sales and inventory anytime from Settings → Sales History.
Can I use it on my phone, tablet, or computer?
Yes. GoOnlinePOS works in modern web browsers on phones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers. The interface automatically adjusts to different screen sizes.
Can I print receipts?
Yes. GoOnlinePOS supports receipt printing from any printer connected to your device. Leave the paper size on Auto and it will fit the available print area, or choose your exact paper size in Settings → Paper & Zoom for more precise results.
What payment methods can I use?
You can accept Cash, Card, Bank Transfer, and other payment methods that you can add and customize for your business.
Can I set my own tax or VAT?
Yes. You can customize the tax name and tax rate to match your business requirements.
Can I change the currency?
Yes. You can change the currency used by the POS and customize the number of decimal places.
Can I keep a customer database?
Yes. Settings → Customers lets you save a name, company, email, and phone number for each customer, plus any notes you want. Link a customer to a sale at checkout and every order they've ever placed shows right on their record, newest first.
